We’ve had a busy and exciting week in first grade. Math is in full swing, and we’ve practiced with lots of manipulatives and hands on activities. In our elective course we’ve been studying continents and oceans. During our Asia study, we tried chopsticks and wore an authentic hat from China. We kept an eye on the pandas via a live web cam too. The pandas were quite entertaining. We also read The Little Red Hen and then made bread. Thank you so much to Mr. Brock for demonstrating and teaching us about the process of making bread. It was so delicious.
2nd grade is doing a plant unit. Home days are a great time to do some plant research.
We are having tons of fun in our Friday Music classes. These talented students were creating rhythms for our percussion instruments. Excuse the noise, we are making music!
