Grammar Art has been working on Christmas projects!
1st grade is creating a watercolor night sky with a handprint angel declaring the birth of Jesus.
3rd grade is creating a tissue paper suncatcher nativity with all the names of Christ found in Isaiah 9:6.

Grammar Art had so much fun making their projects for the Thanksgiving Feast!
The grammar school hosted their Annual Thanksgiving Feast with over 480 guests!
Upper School News
The seventh grade class celebrated Mrs. LaFreniere's "New Grandma" status with a cake on Friday. The LaFrenieres are the proud grandparents of a healthy baby girl.
This past weekend, Linden Bolin, Molly Cadra, Madeleine Sales, and June Thomasson represented KPA in the Texas Music Educators Region 16 Honor Choir with over 60 other singers from the area.

Seniors, Matthew Jenkins and Reagan Ramsey, talk about KPA's recent One Act Play performances.
Please join us for HARMONIZE FOR HUNGER, a Fine Arts FEED LUBBOCK Event.
Admission is free, but please bring cash or check, for a special collection that we will take up for the SOUTH PLAINS FOOD BANK.
There will be amazing art work displayed by our Grammar and SOL Artists. There will also be beautiful singing by Grammar, SOL and SOR choirs! Last but not least, a special performance by LCU Best Friends, will conclude this uplifting evening of PRAISE! We hope to see you there!
Grammar School News
For our unit studying Native American culture and history, the first grade took a field trip to Lubbock Lake landmark. We were able to explore the museum exhibits and spot different kinds of dwellings to help with the project each student is making. The students also got to hear stories and learn all about the importance of the bison from a woman who is part of the native tribes in this area.
Third grade used their multiplication knowledge this week to explore division! They are getting ready for their long division journey!
We are ending our arid plants unit in Nature Study on Fridays! Students made the cutest handprint cacti using their knowledge of the characteristics that God gave the cactus to be able to survive in extreme environments.
Upper School News
The SoR Theatre One Act Play received 3rd place at State this past weekend, making them the third best theatre program in the entire state of Texas! This is the highest placement KPA has ever achieved.

All Star Technical Crew Award for Sound - Brasher Henry
Our theatre students had a wonderful time celebrating their success throughout the fun-filled trip!
