For our unit studying Native American culture and history, the first grade took a field trip to Lubbock Lake landmark. We were able to explore the museum exhibits and spot different kinds of dwellings to help with the project each student is making.  The students also got to hear stories and learn all about the importance of the bison from a woman who is part of the native tribes in this area.

Third grade used their multiplication knowledge this week to explore division! They are getting ready for their long division journey!

We are ending our arid plants unit in Nature Study on Fridays! Students made the cutest handprint cacti using their knowledge of the characteristics that God gave the cactus to be able to survive in extreme environments.
