Grammar School News

Last week, kindergarten, first grade and second grade reviewed parts of a plant… And got to discuss and explore all the different parts that we can eat! Who knew we could eat the stem and roots of some plants?

Upper School News

6th grade participated in a Messianic Passover Seder. They observed the traditional handwashing, recitation of scripture, the four questions about this special day, the drinking of the four cups, and many other traditions. Students even had the opportunity to taste some roasted lamb. What a tangible lesson that ties together history and faith!

Garner Canada and Isaac Martens represented KPA well last weekend at the Texas Science and Engineering Fair at Texas A&M. In addition to competing in the state competition, they had the opportunity to participate in “Night at the Zach” where Texas A&M students showcased their Science Departments and impressive research being done by undergraduate and graduate students. They also had the chance to explore the Zachry Engineering Education Complex, a 525,000-square-foot complex unlike any other research facility in the nation. Even though it is a large campus, they happened to run into a KPA graduate, Daniel Sell, who is currently a student at Texas A&M.

Athletic News

Autumn Lovett and Kate Poe cheered on KPA alumnus Natalie Poe, who runs on scholarship for ACU, at the TTU track meet this past Saturday.
