It’s that time of year the first graders display and present their Native American dwelling projects. They did an amazing job constructing an example of a dwelling they wanted to study and learn about. Way to go first grade families!
3rd grade has been reading about the British monarchy and war for the throne of England. Callan can trace back his direct lineage to Edward II. He can also trace it back to Henry VII; Ferdinand & Isabella. These are some of the people that we have read about this year! He brought a copy of his family tree to share with the class. What a cool connection to our history reading!
3rd grade is learning to connect their multiplication facts with division facts. We used all kinds of manipulatives this week to show our thinking - some of them tasted good! We will be geared up for long division after Thanksgiving break!
Second graders earned their Ninja belts in math by mastering their first group of math facts.
We had a great time feasting together with grammar school families. The pumpkin pie was yummy! Happy Thanksgiving!
The Friday Enrichment art students added to the Thanksgiving Feast decorations this year with their artistic creations. Pilgrims, turkeys, pumpkins & The Mayflower.
